Landslide closes busy section of Noblestown Road on the West End

PITTSBURGH — Traffic in and out of the West End is heavily delayed as a landslide has shut down a busy part of Noblestown Road.

The massive movement of soil reported Sunday night has shut down Noblestown Road between Weaver and Obey streets.

Officials with the Department of Public Works said crews will need to stabilize the hillside, and they don't know how long that will take.

City officials said there are detour signs set up for drivers.
