Mt. Lebanon student suspended after dressing as homeless man, refusing to break character

MT. LEBANON, Pa. — A Mt. Lebanon High School senior was suspended from school after he showed up dressed as a homeless man.

Michael Bodomov said he had to create and act like a character for an entire day as part of a drama assignment.

He showed up to school dressed in multiple coats and had ink smeared on his face, and school officials said they didn’t recognize him.

The situation escalated when he wouldn’t break character. He was then suspended for not identifying himself to officials.
