NEW YORK, N.Y. - Another legendary athlete from Pittsburgh has been inducted into his sport’s hall of fame.
Bruno Sammartino was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Sammartino grew up in Italy, but moved to Pittsburgh in 1950.
Sammartino held the WWE Championship title for nearly eight straight years, which remains a record to this day.
