PITTSBURGH - Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of assaulting a Port Authority bus driver.
According to police, the assailant got onto a bus on Jan. 17 just before noon at the corner of Chateau and Juniata streets in Manchester.
Investigators said he didn’t have sufficient bus fare and became angry with the bus driver. Police said the man struck the bus driver with an open hand to the face and then fled the scene.
Authorities said the potential charge against the man would be simple assault.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to contact police.
