Man accused of robbing Lawrenceville convenience store at gunpoint

LAWRECEVILLE, Pa.,None - Police arrested a man accused of robbing a Lawrenceville convenience store early Thursday morning.

Officials said Anthony Bell, 18, of Philadelphia, is accused of robbing the Quick Stop Mart on Liberty Avenue.

Police said Bell wore a mask while holding the store’s clerk at gunpoint around 6 a.m. Thursday.

Bell was caught nearby hiding in a large truck tire, police said. Officers recovered a revolver, clothing, gloves and a mask all reported to be used during the robbery.

Bell is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail and  is facing robbery charges, as well as firearms not be carried without a license charges.
