Man accused of using app to meet teen for sex appears in court

RESERVE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A local businessmen accused of using a social media app to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex appeared in court Thursday.

According to police, Jeremy Burnworth used an app to meet a teenager, who he eventually picked up in Reserve Township.

Investigators said Burnworth admitted to them that he intended to have sex with the teen, who told him he was 17.

Thursday’s hearing was postponed.
