PITTSBURGH — A man was arrested Friday for attempting to bring a gun into the Allegheny County Courthouse.

According to officials, the incident happened around 9:45 a.m. when security guards stationed at the building's Grant Street entrance  found the gun in the man's belongings.

Golan Barak, 46, of Pittsburgh, was subsequently arrested by Allegheny County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with possession of a firearm.
