Man with criminal history accused of sexually assaulting 2 young girls

OHIOVILLE, Pa. — An Ohioville man is facing several charges after police said two girls allege he sexually assaulted them several times over the past three years.

Police said Brian Heizler is facing corruption of minors charges and other sex crimes against kids.

Neighbors said Heizler was a handyman in the neighborhood, as well as a babysitter. They also said he often had young girls at his house.

According to police, two 13-year-old girls told detectives that Heizler began sexually assaulting them when they were 10.

According to police, Heizler took photos of the girls and had sexual contact with them. He also threatened suicide if they told anyone, police said.

"It's disgusting.  It shouldn't be happening.  Whoever does that, they have problems," said neighbor Alex Palashoff.

Authorities seized all of his computers and his cellphone, and did not find any pictures.

Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz reported that Heizler has a criminal history involving children.

Police told Marcinkiewicz that in 2002, Heizler pleaded no contest to a corruption of minor charge involving a young girl. He was sentenced to two years maximum probation.

Authorities said they also investigated a claim against him in 2008, but he was never charged.
