ENON VALLEY, Pa. - A man escaped a burning Enon Valley, Lawrence County home on Monday.
Bobby Powell suffered smoke inhalation and burns in the blaze.
Powell ran out of the house on fire and rolled on the ground.
“I’m glad I’m alive. I shouldn’t have stayed in there so long. I could have really hurt myself,” he said.
Initially, Powell tried to save his home.
The American Red Cross is assisting Powell.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
