Man shot multiple times outside Larimer gas station

PITTSBURGH — A man was shot outside a gas station in Pittsburgh's Larimer neighborhood Friday night.

The shooting happened near the Sunoco gas station on Frankstown Avenue about 11:30 p.m.

According to police, the victim and the shooter got into an argument at one of the gas pumps prior to the shooting.

"The people involved kind of went around the corner and at some point when they were away from the front of the station gunshots started ringing out, and the victim ran back to the front of the gas station where he fell down and 911 was called," said Public Information Officer Sonya Toler.

The 27-year-old victim was shot three times in the lower extremities, authorities said. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where he was last listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.

Police are investigating.
