Masked man robs Verona Dunkin Donuts

VERONA, Pa. — Police said a masked gunman robbed a Verona Dunkin Donuts store early Monday morning.

Investigators said a man dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask walked into the store around 6:45 a.m. and told the three employees inside that he had a gun.

Police said the employees did what the man asked and no customers were inside of the store at the time of the robbery.

Customers who frequent the store said they were surprised to hear about the crime.

"They stopped me at the door and said no one is allowed in," Jalysa Knox said. "I usually get a coffee every morning but they just told me, 'Not this morning.'"

So far, no arrests have been made. No injuries were reported.
