Meet America's new snowboarding sweetheart: Kaitlyn Farrington

SOCHI, Russia — What's not to like about Kaitlyn Farrington?

She's a gold medalist.

She made her way to Sochi in no small part because of her dad selling cows from his farm.

And she was the final snowboarder named to the U.S. team after the final qualifying event in January.

For those keeping score at home, that's Farrington 3, boring storylines 0.

The 24-year-old is also as charming as they come, evidenced by her sunny disposition during the pressure-cooker that was the women's halfpipe final.
