SOUTH STRABANE, Pa. - A memorial was held on Monday for a father who was shot and killed while trying to stop a bank robber last year.
Vincent Kelley was killed one year ago when a man opened fire at the Giant Eagle in South Strabane Township.
Police said Kelley tried to subdue the robber, but was shot several times before the robber sped away in his car. Kelley’s killer has still not been caught.
Kelley’s family and friends gathered to remember his life Monday night.
"I look back on our last text messages. It hurts," said the victim's daughter, Sierra Kelley.
