Memorial ride honors fallen firefighters, honorary firefighter

ZELIENOPLE, Pa. — About 150 bikers took part in the fifth annual Brotherhood Memorial Ride in Zelienople Sunday.

Started in 2010, the event honors fallen firefighters Sam Bucci and Elijah Lunsford, and honorary firefighter Trevor Barkley. A memorial fund was also created.

The Brotherhood Memorial Fund benefits families of fallen firefighters and those injured in service to their communities.

Sunday's ride began at the Zelienople Fire Department and ended at the Zelienople Community Park.

"It's nice to see everybody come together and enjoy the brotherhood and help some people out in their time of need.  It's nice to know you have that backing behind you," said Josh Rader.
