PITTSBURGH - A mother and daughter were sent to an area hospital Wednesday morning after a violent confrontation inside their North Side home.
Police were initially sent to the home on a report of a stabbing at the East Ohio Street apartment.
Investigators later learned that the women were cut with broken glass during the fight. Officers said two small children were home at the time of the incident, but were not harmed.
Police are still working out what, if any, charges will be filed.
The women were not seriously hurt.
