Navy christens USS Somerset to honor Flight 93 victims

The Navy christened the USS Somerset as its newest ship to honor Flight 93 victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The Amphibious Transport Dock was renamed for the victims of the plane that crashed near Shanksville, Somerset County, in a ceremony in Louisiana on Saturday.

The USS Somerset is the  last ship to be christened by the Navy to honor Sept. 11 victims, and its sister ships are the USS New York and USS Arlington.

Each of the vessels carries steel salvaged from the 9/11 wreckage.
