Nonprofit furniture store in McKeesport flooded; Owner asks for help

McKEESPORT, Pa. — A water main broke, flooding a nonprofit furniture store in McKeesport this week.

Calvin Green runs the CVV furniture store that has been providing furniture at a deep discount to people in need, including fire and flood victims.

"When I saw this, I was literally blown away," said Vernon Reed, a friend of Green.

Green, who has always helped others, is hoping others will help him.

"I've been helping them, now I need help," said Green.

Many of the items in the store were damaged or destroyed.
