GREENE COUNTY, Pa. - An investigation is underway following the death of an inmate at the State Correctional Institute Greene on Friday night, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
State police and officials from SCI Greene are investigating the death of Ronald Yarbough, 22.
Yarbough was found unresponsive in his cell about 6 p.m., and pronounced dead after attempts to revive him failed.
He had been serving a one- to four-year sentence for aggravated bodily injury to a Cambria County officer.
An autopsy will determine the cause of Yarbough’s death.
