PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh police said they’re searching for two gunmen accused of opening fire in Fineview early Monday morning.
According to investigators, the shootout happened just after 1 a.m. at the Allegheny Dwellings House Complex in the 1700 block of Belleau Drive.
Officers said a woman was shot in the back and is listed in critical condition at Allegheny General Hospital.
The other two victims, a man and a woman, are also being treated at AGH, and are expected to be OK.
“(The victims) were sitting in the courtyard area when the shots were fired. There were also shots that went into some apartments in the area. One vehicle that was parked was hit,” Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.
Toler said detectives found at least 30 shell casings at the scene. Witnesses told investigators that the gunmen got away in a gold or tan Hyundai Sonata.
“We were informed by witnesses that a vehicle resembling a gold or tan Hyundai Sonata may be the shooters fleeing from the scene,” Toler said.
Police do not have a good description of the men and are urging anyone with information to contact police.
