PITTSBURGH - Emergency crews had to shut down the Parkway West Friday morning following an accident involving a tractor-trailer and two cars.
Police said the tractor-trailer went through a concrete barrier separating the east and westbound lanes of the Parkway between the Carnegie and Green Tree exits.
Officials said both the eastbound and westbound lanes were closed while crews worked to clear the scene. Traffic problems persisted throughout the morning as the accident was cleared.
There is no word on any injuries.
