Penguins bring holiday cheer to Children's Hospital patients

PITTSBURGH — Sidney Crosby and many of his Penguins teammates donned special Santa hats Friday afternoon while delivering presents to patients at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

The wonderful gesture is a team tradition since the 1970s.

In addition to handing out the gifts, Pens players posed for photos, signed autographs and chatted with the kids and their families.

Players and coaches contributed the funds to buy all of the toys.
