PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Penguins’ flight to their two-game West Coast road trip was more full than normal on Wednesday.
That’s because the team was joined by their mothers.
After several dads’ trips under General Manager Ray Shero, the team decided to change it up and take the moms.
The players’ mothers will attend team meals, bus rides to and from games in Los Angeles and Phoenix and watch the games from a luxury suite.
