Penn Hills School District opens new high school building

PENN HILLS, Pa — The Penn Hills School District opened its new state-of-the-art senior high school building on Collins Drive Friday afternoon.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday, and those in attendance had the opportunity to take a tour of the new high school, which features a new gym and auditorium.

Construction on the $58 million high school began back in 2010.

The former high school building will be torn down and made into more parking spaces and athletic facilities for students.
