PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Public School District is investigating a complaint made against a Perry Traditional Academy teacher.
According to school officials, an 18-year-old female student alleged that a male teacher made comments of a sexual nature and touched her in an inappropriate manner.
School police investigated the claims and turned their information over to Pittsburgh Police.
The incident is being investigated by the City police and the sex assault and family violence department.
The teacher in question, who was hired in August, was placed on leave on Nov. 21.
