Pittsburgh-area YMCA worker charged in child porn

PITTSBURGH — The aquatics director at a Pittsburgh-area YMCA has been jailed on charges he possessed more than 58,000 images and 250 videos of child pornography on two home computers and other data storage devices.

Online court records don't list an attorney for 28-year-old Hart Williams, of West View, who faces a preliminary hearing April 23.

According to the state attorney general's office, state agents and Ross Township police traced the pornography to an Internet address linked to Williams' apartment. Investigators found the child pornography on a desktop and laptop computer, as well as two thumb drives and an external hard drive.

Officials with the Baierl Family YMCA in say he was hired in April 2013 and became the chapter's full-time aquatics director in August. He's been suspended from that job.   The YMCA says Williams passed a background check.
