Polar Vortex kills stink bugs; Could we see less this spring?

PITTSBURGH — We may find less stink bugs in our homes and yards this spring.

The polar vortex killed up to 95 percent of the stink bugs in an experiment done by researchers at Virginia Tech.

Stink bugs have survived lab tests where the temperature was minus 4 degrees, but temperatures went as low as minus 15 degrees this year.
