FOX CHAPEL, Pa. - More than a dozen police departments responded to a massive party Friday night in Fox Chapel with about 700 people in attendance.
According to police, 19 different departments responded to the Hickory Hill Road home. Authorities said an estimated 700 people, ages 18-24, were at the party.
“I've never seen anything like that on this street or any place. Biggest party I’ve ever seen in my life,” said Jana Miller, a neighbor. “Huge swarms of people, like walking into a Steelers game or a concert. Just masses of people walking up and down the street.”
Detectives told Channel 11’s Cara Sapida that their main priority with the large amount of people in attendance was to disperse the crowd. Police said no one became violent, thus no arrests were made.
Several neighbors complained about minor property damage.
Police said there was alcohol at the party, and they continue to investigate.
