Police: 2 facing serious charges after McKees Rocks shootout

McKEES ROCKS, Pa. — Authorities are looking for two men accused in a shootout Thursday night in McKees Rocks.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Broadway Avenue around 9 p.m. Thursday.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the shooting, but there are bullet holes in several buildings and mailboxes.

In addition, surveillance cameras captured young children running away from the scene.

Raymond Griffin, 21, and Ryan Griffin-Simpson, 25, were taken into custody following the shootout.  The names of the men police are still looking for haven't been released.

“Firearms violations, carrying weapons without licenses and for recklessly endangering,” McKees Rocks police Chief Robert Cifrulak said.

Investigators haven’t identified the intended targets of the shooting, but sources told Channel 11 News that it may have been in retaliation for a prior shooting on May 17.
