Police: Armed man robs Indiana Co. bank

INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. — Police are looking for a man who robbed an Indiana County bank Tuesday morning at gunpoint.

Authorities said the First Commonwealth Bank on Main Street in Cherry Tree Boro was robbed about 11 a.m.

According to police, a man walked into the bank armed with a handgun and demanded money. He got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

Detectives said the man fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact police.
