PITTSBURGH - An East Hills man is facing charges after police said he hit his 7-year-old daughter across the face with a leather belt.
According to the criminal complaint, Thomas Wright hit the girl last Friday after telling her and her brother to be quiet.
Police said Wright was watching the children while their mother was at work.
The criminal complaint said that the children's mother called 911 after picking them up and finding injuries on her daughter's face.
Wright was later arrested and charged with assault and endangerment.
