Police: Freedom Area bus driver let students fight

ROCHESTER, Pa. (AP) — A Freedom Area School District bus driver has been charged with endangering children after police said he let two students fight on his bus instead of intervening.

North Sewickley Township police charged Braden Hollis, of Baden, after viewing surveillance video of the March 4 incident in which police said Hollis can be heard telling other students to "clear the aisle and let them fight."

Police charged Hollis under a section of the law which requires those who are guardians or otherwise in a position of trust to care for children.

R. J. Rhodes Transit said it is cooperating with investigators and that the driver is no longer working in the Freedom Area School District.
