MOUNT OLIVER, Pa.,None - Police have identified the man stabbed to death inside a house in Mount Oliver Sunday morning.
Officials said Kevin Hill, 31, of Pittsburgh, was stabbed in the neck at about 5:30 a.m. at a home along Amanda Avenue. Hill died a short time later at a local hospital.
A friend of Hill, who wanted to remain anonymous, said a few people were at the house drinking. The friend said he fell asleep only to be awakened to try to save Hill’s life.
“The CPR woke him up at one point, just enough time for him to look me in my eyes and then he fell out,” the friend said. “I don’t know why it happened or how it happened. If I could do anything to change it, I would.”
Hill's friend said a relative of his is a suspect in the case.
"I don't know if it was meant to happen," the friend said. "I don't know if it was self-defense or if it was just from the alcohol."
Police are searching for Donald Finnigan in connection with the case. Police said Finnigan, 26, is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information is asked to call Allegheny County police.
