PITTSBURGH - Police are searching for the person who held up a sandwich shop on Mount Washington Saturday.
A man entered the Subway on Shiloh Street and displayed a handgun to the clerk, police said. He got away with an unspecified amount of cash from a register.
The clerk told Channel 11 that the suspect first appeared to be a normal customer, grabbing a drink and making small talk before the robbery.
Officials said the man had tattoos on both arms, one of which spanned from elbow to shoulder on his right arm. The man is believed to frequent the 2000 block of Brownsville Road.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
