PITTSBURGH - Two girls who went missing from their East Liberty home Saturday night are safe Sunday morning.
Santanna Rouse, 13, and her sister Ashanti Rouse, 10, returned home just before 10 a.m. after spending the night at a friend’s house.
The sisters had last been seen by their mother about 9 p.m. Saturday. They were sitting on the front porch of their home in the 500 block of North Saint Clair Street with an unknown female, whom the mother spoke with briefly, police said.
According to authorities, the Rouse sisters’ mother noticed her daughters and the female were gone about 9:45 p.m. She searched the neighborhood and notified police when she could not find them.
