Police looking for suspect in Fayette Co. break-in

REDSTONE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police have released a surveillance image of a man who broke into a Fayette County dollar store Friday morning.

Officials said two men were involved in the break-in, which occurred about 5 a.m. at a Dollar General in Redstone Township.

One of the men broke the glass on the front door of the store and jumped over the counter, police said. That man then left the store after finding the cash register to be empty and got into an SUV driven by a second man.

The vehicle was seen driving on Route 166 before turning onto Filbert Orient Road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police Belle Vernon.
