Police make arrest in Aliquippa shooting

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Police arrested a man accused in a shooting Saturday night in Aliquippa.

Charles Pratt, 28, of Ambridge, was taken into custody after a man was shot about 9:30 p.m. near Linmar Terrace.

The 33-year-old man who was injured, who has not been identified, suffered three gunshot wounds to his back and shoulder, police said. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police learned during their investigation that Pratt was the alleged shooter. Pratt was found at an apartment, where police recovered a small handgun that showed evidence of having recently been fired, authorities said.

Pratt is facing charges that include criminal attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
