Police: Man arrested for selling heroin out of grandmother's home

SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police said they arrested a man for selling heroin out of his grandmother's home in Scott Township.

The near fatal heroin overdose of man on Wednesday led police to Brian Blotzer, 32, police said.

Blotzer was dealing drugs out of his 84-year-old ailing grandmother's home, according to police.

"Not only was he a user, he was also a dealer," said officer Mark Samangy.

According to Samangy, Blotzer's bedroom is where he hid hundreds of stamped bags of heroin.

Armed with a search warrant, police said they found his stash, more than $3,000 in cash and all the trappings of a drug abuser and dealer.

Police believe his grandmother and neighbors had no idea.

"We believe the residents in the area had no clue what was happening beneath their noses," said Samangy.
