Police: Man caught on camera robbing Dollar General in Kennedy Township

Police said a bold crime was caught on camera at a Kennedy Township Dollar General, and Channel 11 got a hold of the surveillance video on Wednesday.

Wearing a baseball cap and glasses, a robber helped himself to not one but two cash registers during daylight last week, according to police.

The robber acted casual cool before using his hands to pry open one drawer at a time and scoop up cash, police said.

The robber didn't try to hide his features, and that makes police nervous.

"It tells me he's pretty desperate," said police Chief Anthony Bruni.

Employees at neighboring businesses told Channel 11 they didn't see the suspect. Police are hoping the surveillance video helps track down the man.
