Police: Marijuana grow operation, drugs, money found in Beltzhoover home with children


BELTZHOOVER, Pa. - A man and woman from Beltzhoover are facing drug charges after police said they found a marijuana grow operation, drugs and money in their home.

Romolus Bryant, 33, and Natalie Taylor, 23, are accused in a grow operation accessible from their children’s room on the third floor of their residence on Loyal Way.  The children are ages 3 and 4.

Narcotics detectives said they discovered 12 marijuana plants and potting containers with soil under a lighting system. 

A search of the home turned up a large amount of heroin, approximately 395 stamped bags, police said.

Two gallon-size bags containing marijuana and $11,506 in U.S. currency were also recovered, police said.  

Bryant and Taylor are charged with possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, endangering the welfare of children, criminal conspiracy, possession of an instrument of crime, possession of heroin and possession with the intent to deliver heroin.

The children were turned over to their maternal grandmother and CYF was notified, police said.
