PITTSBURGH - Police are asking for assistance in locating a missing 51-year-old man who was last seen leaving Shadyside Hospital Wednesday morning.
Authorities said Donald Deaderick left the hospital about 10:40 a.m. Doctors said he recently suffered a severe brain injury that caused decreased mental capacity and is highly confused.
Investigators said Deaderick, who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds, is known to frequent the Lawrenceville and Garfield areas.
Deaderick, who has a birth mark over his right eye lid, was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark sweat pants and glasses.
Police said Deaderick may become aggressive, so anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police or the missing persons office at 412-323-7800.
