ETNA, Pa. - Police are asking for help in finding a father of three who has been missing more than a week.
Narbole “Danny” Cheeks, 29, of Etna, has been missing since Jan. 6.
According to police, Cheeks was last seen at a Dewey Street home with his girlfriend.
“I never knew him to be like this. If he did go visit somebody, he always made sure his kids were OK. He’s a good person,” Cheeks’ neighbor Robin Hutchinson said.
Cheeks was recently diagnosed with a mental condition, and his family members said he’s in need of his medication.
A candlelight prayer vigil was held Sunday night in front of Art Rooney Middle School for Cheeks’ safe return.
“Keep an eye out for him because this just isn’t right for these boys. They miss their dad,” Hutchinson said.
Investigators said he was spotted in downtown Pittsburgh Sunday night near the Liberty Avenue T-Station, but his family has still not heard from him.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
