HOMESTEAD, Pa. — Police need your help identifying an attempted robber who punched a clerk.

"Give me the money.  I don't want to shoot you," a man said to the clerk at the A to Z convenience store in Homestead.

Police said the clerk fought back.  That's when the struggle for the cash register turned violent.

"As you can see by the video, he hit him a couple of times," said Jeffrey DeSimone of Homestead police.

Police said the man was desperate to get money and is considered to be dangerous.

If you have any information, you're asked to call Homestead police.

"The actor took his hood off and fled.  It's pretty good video.  That's why we're hoping you can help us," said DeSimone.
