A Parking Authority employee is accused of offering a Pittsburgh police officer money to perform a sex act.
Target 11 investigator Rick Earle reported that Albert Colelli, 41, is accused of offering the woman $20 in exchange for a sex act on the city’s North Side.
According to the criminal complaint, the alleged solicitation happened just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of Middle and Foreland streets while Colelli was off duty.
Colelli is charged with criminal solicitation, patronizing a prostitute and operating a vehicle without insurance. He was sent a summons by mail.
Neighbors who live in the area told Earle that they see prostitution problems on a regular basis and it bothers them.
“They're always walking up and down Middle Street, and this is where they normally jump in and out of vehicles,” said Jason Johnson, who lives near the intersection.
Colelli denies soliciting the woman. He told Earle that he almost hit her, so he stopped to ask if she was OK.
