PITTSBURGH — Police said a patron at a Spring Hill bar was shot during a robbery attempt on Wednesday night.
The shooting happened at Parrott's Pub on Spring Garden Avenue around 8:30 p.m.
According to police, the gunman was attempting to rob the bar when a customer, playing pool, stood up and tried to fight the robber.
That customer was shot in the chest, police said.
The victim is listed in critical condition.
Police are searching for the gunman.
