GARFIELD, Pa. - A 10-year-old Garfield boy who had been missing since last week when he left his grandmother’s house was located safe Tuesday.
Kasuantae Moore was accompanied by his mother, Danyell Yvonne Moore, 37, as they walked into the Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families around noon on Tuesday, Pittsburgh police Lt. Daniel M. Herrmann said.
City police are still trying to determine where the two were and why Danyell Moore had not contacted authorities.
Kasuantae was reported missing after he left his grandmother’s home Friday afternoon. His mother later could not be found at her apartment on Meadow Street.
