Police seize drugs, weapons in Aliquippa bar raid

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. - State police and other law enforcement agencies raided an Aliquippa, Beaver County, bar early Saturday, leading to the seizure of drugs and weapons, police said.

Liquor enforcement officers, along with state troopers, Aliquippa police, county probation officers and deputy sheriffs served a search warrant at 1011 Main St. Rear around 2:30 a.m., for sales without a liquor license.

There, police said, they seized 40 liters of liquor, 14 gallons of beer and $77. Aliquippa police said they also found drugs, drug paraphernalia and weapons.

Charges are pending for illegal liquor sales, police said.
