Police: Several cars shot with BB gun in Elizabeth Twp. overnight

ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police in Elizabeth Township are investigating after several drivers’ cars were shot with a BB gun overnight.

Rhiannon Belmares told Channel 11’s Cara Sapida that she woke up Friday and found her car, that was parked on Roslyn Street in the Boston area, had been shot.

“This is the car I drive. There was glass everywhere we had to clean up,” Belmares said. “Apparently somebody wasn’t happy and shot up everybody’s windows.

Elizabeth Township and McKeesport police are investigating and said they haven’t made any arrests.

“I just don’t know what kind of sick, deranged, twisted people do this. Let’s make them shell out $500 for the deductible,” Belmares said.

Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to contact police.
