BIG BEAVER BOROUGH, Pa. - Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a road-rage incident in Beaver County over the weekend.
Authorities said 22-year-old Kevin Haskins was driving north on Route 18 in Big Beaver when another vehicle passed him and a passenger in that car shot at him, hitting his windshield.
Investigators said Haskins crashed into the center divider and he fled the scene on foot, leaving behind his car.
Witnesses told police they saw Haskins ditch a gun in some weeds near Route 18. Troopers said they recovered the gun and when they found Haskins later that night, he was in the middle of a drug deal.
According to police, Haskins and James Gilmore were inside a car driven by Karley Murray.
Officers said they discovered two more loaded weapons inside the car. Murray was charged with DUI, and Gilmore was charged with weapons and drug charges.
Police charged Haskins with carrying a firearm without a license and other drug- and weapons-related charges.
The investigation remains open as police are looking for the person who shot at Haskins’ car.
