Police: Teenage PAT bus riders attack woman after getting off at stop, steal purse

PITTSBURGH — Port Authority police said they are looking for two people who robbed a fellow PAT bus rider after getting off at a stop in Wilkinsburg.

Investigators said the incident happened near the East Busway's Hamnett Station on Sunday.

The victim, a 25-year-old woman, said she just got off the bus when she was thrown to the ground by two teenage boys who had also been on the bus.

"She was walking when two males attacked her on the trail.  They robbed her," said Bill Wagner with the Port Authority Police.

The victim said the boys stole her purse and then ran away.

So far, no arrests have been made.
