MUNHALL, Pa. - Police in Munhall announced Thursday afternoon that a woman who claimed she was robbed Wednesday night near Steel Valley High School made the story up.
According to police, detectives determined the two teenagers never touched the woman – as she said they did. Authorities said they determined this based on the school’s surveillance video.
Police told Channel 11’s Alan Jennings that the woman will be charged with filing a false police report.
Investigators said they’re not sure of the woman’s motive.
